Following a fire at the city centre hotel where he works, Mark explains in simple terms what he has learnt about fire safety. Mark is ably assisted in the video by Annie who works in a small family run establishment. Using a mix of illustrative action and animated graphics Mark and Annie help the viewer understand: The importance of fire prevention and the simple things that can be done to minimise the risk of fire.How to identify vulnerable guests and ensure that their specific needs can be met in the event of a fire.The action to take in an emergency to save lives. How the training works Fire safety 1st provides everything needed for effective training in this vitally important subject. Either in group sessions, or individually, trainees watch the video after which they complete a straightforward multiple-choice questionnaire which aids understanding and retention of the points covered. Questionnaires returned to TVA for computer validation entitle the trainee to written feedback on all the answers, plus a Certificate of Course Completion endorsed by CACFOA (The Chief & Assistant Chief Fire Officers' Association). Establishments that return the Questionnaires for validation will also receive a Certificate endorsed by CACFOA confirming that they use Fire Safety 1st for staff training.
