Silence is Consent
Targeted at those involved in road works and highways maintenance, this short drama was commissioned by partners in the industry with the aim of changing attitudes towards near miss reporting.
The circumstances that befall a highway maintenance crew serve to highlight the impact near misses have on their lives at work and at home. The programme questions the crew’s attitudes and explores some of the reasons why near misses often aren’t recognised, reported, or why action isn’t taken to prevent a recurrence.
