A suite of three programmes form a key part of training for Permit Acceptor, Fire Watch and Standby Man at ConocoPhillips Teesside Operations.
The programmes are designed to raise the profile of what are considered critical tasks associated with the site's Permit to Work system. It is imperative to the safe operation of the site that those carrying out the tasks understand their importance and have the knowledge to carry them out effectively.
Each programme outlines the correct procedures, while recognising some of the practical issues associated with the task.
